The Information below explains how TrustedID collects, uses and discloses information, including personal information, when you use the Reppler Application, the Reppler Website, and other Reppler online services (all collectively, "Reppler"). Reppler nor TrustedID are a data company or an advertising company. TrustedID does not collect and sell any individualized data. Rather, Reppler is a social reputation monitoring service designed to keep your online image clean and safe.
This page provides you with an explanation of how TrustedID handles data collection and user privacy in the context of Reppler. Additionally, we recommend that you review the privacy policies of the social networking services you visit or use.
TrustedID
Reppler operates in the cloud by continuously monitoring your social network accounts to help you manage your social reputation. When you use Reppler, you expressly authorize TrustedID access to and use of information related to your use of social network platforms and related accounts in order for us to make available Reppler.
How TrustedID May Process and Use of Information
TrustedD may monitor and analyze the performance of Reppler. In doing so, STBM may collect some basic data in server logs, like a web request, the data sent in response to that request, the Internet Protocol address, the browser type, the browser language, and a timestamp for the request. This information is used to maintain the functionality of Reppler. Personal information is not automatically collected for monitoring or performance analysis purposes on Reppler.
Because Reppler is designed to help you manage and protect how your information is used through and with social media platforms and tools, TrustedID may access, store and view certain of your usage data associated with these platforms and tools. In doing so, some of these social media platforms and tools provide controls to you and guidelines and terms to us for how we may process and use information as we interact with them. TrustedID takes steps to follow these requirements and respect your choices. In fact, our goal is to help enable you to make better and more informed decisions as you use social media platforms and tools.
Cookies and Other Technologies. We store a cookie on your computer if you have cookies enabled. If you do not have cookies enabled, you may not be able to use to Reppler. A cookie is simply a text file, which indicates your Reppler or session identification number. We use cookies for a variety of purposes intended to make Reppler better for you. For example, we use cookies to identify you as an existing user of Reppler so that you may receive content that is optimized for you. We also use a cookie to maintain session information for logged in users, to prevent the need for re-entry of login information when browsing outside Reppler. We may also use cookies to track user trends and patterns in order to better understand and improve areas of Reppler that our users find valuable. Information collected by Reppler cookies is not linked to your personally identifiable information. We also may use unaffiliated third parties to provide services such as web analytics and to display ads on our sites, and these types of services may utilize cookies. Cookies received with these services are collected by these unaffiliated third parties, and we do not have access to this information. The use of cookies by our partners is not covered by this Privacy Policy. We do not have access or control over these cookies. You may disable ours and others’ cookies but this may impact your experience and the usability of Reppler.
TrustedID will also collect individual and aggregate experience information in connection with Reppler so that it can provide threat analysis data for our user communities. These published reports contain only aggregate and non-personally identifiable information.
Processing in the United States
Reppler is operated from the United States and strives to comply with United States privacy and data protection laws. If you are visiting or using Reppler from outside the United States, you agree to any processing of any personal information you provide through Reppler according to this policy.
Sharing with Third Parties
TrustedID values your privacy and thus takes reasonable steps to secure our collected data. We have systems, policies, and procedures in place to protect against unauthorized access, use, or alteration of our collected data including personal information.
TrustedID does not share personal information you have provided to us without your consent, unless sharing of such information is necessary to facilitate Reppler, is legally required, or aids in protection of TrustedID property or legal rights, or those of others.
If TrustedID should ever file for bankruptcy or have its assets sold to or merged with another entity, information TrustedID receives from you through Reppler is a TrustedID asset and may be transferred.
Links to Third-Party Websites and Co-Branded Websites
Reppler may contain links to third-party websites, however, please be aware that TrustedID is not responsible for and cannot control these other sites. Reppler may also contain links to co-branded websites that are maintained by third parties by agreement with TrustedID. TrustedID makes no representations whatsoever about any other website which you may access through Reppler.
When you access a non-TrustedID website, even one that may contain the Reppler logo, please understand that it is independent fromTrustedID, and that TrustedID may have no control over the content on that website. In addition, a link to a non-TrustedID website does not mean that TrustedID endorses or accepts any responsibility for the content or use, of such website.
Choice of Law
Any claim relating to Reppler is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California excluding its choice of law rules. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts with jurisdiction over Santa Clara County, California for the resolution of any and all disputes arising out of or relating to your use of Reppler. You further agree and covenant not to bring suit in any other jurisdiction.
Revisions
TrustedID may at any time revise this Privacy Policy by updating this posting. TrustedID will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent.
